Born in Basel in 1961. Dance training in Zurich, 1986-89 performances and tours with dance companies. 1992 to 2022 worked as an editor, producer and film author at SRF (Swiss national radio and television). In 2021 she founded filmtext.ch and has worked as a freelance author and producer since then. She also teaches at the CAS, Documentary Film at the Bern University of the Arts and is a member of the Swiss Association of Film Directors and Screenwriters ARF.
