Born in Switzerland. She studied art in Lausanne and Zurich. In 1998 she completed a Master of Fine Arts at Claremont Graduate University in California. She went on to graduate in documentary filmmaking from the University of California. She works as documentary filmmaker, multimedia artist and as lecturer in photography and photo journalism. Her photographs and experimental installations have been shown in exhibitions worldwide.
