1982 MA in Cultural Anthropology, Psychology and Mass Communications. 1983-84 Studies Film at New York University. 1983 Cofounds Onix Film. 1984-87 Lives and works between New York and Central America. Since 1984 works as freelance film director and screenwriter, and has won national and international awards. 1995- 2010 Lecturer at private and public universities. 2008 Cofounds Onfeatures Film GmbH. Member of the European Film Academy EFA and the Swiss Film Academy.
