Julian M. Grünthal

Director, Screenwriter, Editor, Cinematographer

Born in 1981 in Freiburg in Breisgau, Germany. Swiss citizenship. Since 2001 lives in Switzerland. 2001-05 Attends ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste) Theatre Department. 2014-15 Prague Film School – focus cinematography, film directing and screenwriting (graduated with honours). Numerous works with his own group “Grenzgänger Zurich”, with the collective 400asa and as director of commissioned films. Works as independent director for film and theatre, as cinematographer, photographer, actor and film editor.
