Kaspar Kasics

Director, Screenwriter, Producer, Cinematographer, Editor, Composer

Born in Interlaken, Switzerland. He studied philosophy at the University of Zurich and music at the Conservatory of Zurich. In 1990s he began working as an independent director and producer. For thirteen years he led the Swiss Filmmakers Association as president. His documentaries CLOSED COUNTRY (1999) and BLUE END (2000) premiered in the official selection of the Berlinale and YES NO MAYBE (2015) and ERICA JONG — BREAKING THE WALL (2022) in Locarno.
