Swiss kurdish filmmaker. Lives in Switzerland. 1981-86 Studies History and Law at Damascus University. 1987-94 Studies directing at the Film Academy in former Czechoslovakia. Until 1995 freelances for Czechoslovakian and Slowakian television. Works as director and producer. 2012 Founds the production company Frame Film in Bern. His films have won numerous awards over the years.
