Born in 1962 in Basel, Switzerland. 1981-82 Studies History of Art at the University of Basel. 1983-88 Studies Visual Arts at the SfG (Schule für Gestaltung und Kunst) Basel. 1988 Receives teaching degree in visual arts from the SfG Basel. Since 2002 lecturer «Bewegtes Bild» at the SfG. Guest lecturer at the Universitys of Bern, Zurich, Basel. Since 2009 guest lecturer at HSLU (Hochschule Luzern, Design & Kunst), video department. Works as an independent director and video artist.
