Michael Künstle is a composer for film and contemporary music as well as an arranger for classical and Pop music. At the age of 21 he won the „Golden Eye Award“ for Best Score at the 1st International Filmmusic Competition (Zurich Film Festival). He passed his Master of Arts in Composition for Film, Theatre and Media at the ZHdK (Zürcher Horchschule der Künste) in Zurich with distinction. He collaborated with David Zinman, Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and Niki Reiser („Heidi“, Oscar-Winning „Nowhere in Africa“) and teams regularly up with sound engineer Daniel Dettwiler from Idee und Klang Studio. He wrote over 50 arrangements for several bands and classical ensembles.
