Born in 1984 in Jegenstorf, Switzerland. 2004-08 Attends HSLU (Hochschule Luzern, Design & Kunst) video department. 2008 BA in Visual Communications from HSLU. Since 2008 works as independent filmmaker and editor. Since 2010 lectures at the Schule für Gestaltung Bern-Biel. In 2019, his first feature documentary AFRICAN MIRROR premiered at the Berlinale, was nominated for the Swiss Film Award and won the Berner Filmpreis.
