Otto Alder

Director, Screenwriter, Cinematographer

Born in 1953 in Buhlbronn, Germany. Swiss citizenship. Former director of the Leipzig Film Festival, animation programme. 1995 Cofounder of Fantoche International Animation Festival. Works as programme curator for film festivals internationally, as filmmaker and as lecturer of history of moving images at the HSLU (Hochschule Luzern – Design & Kunst). 2007-11 co-director of the HSLU animation department.
