Born in 1967 in Fribourg, Switzerland. Joint Swiss and Italian citizenship. 1986-88 Studies German and Italian at the University of Basel. 1991-93 Studies Philosophy, German and History of Art at the University of Basel. 1990-91 Attends Graduate Screenwriting programme at USC (University of Southern California) School of Cinematic Arts, Los Angeles. 1990-91 Script Year Suissimage with Krzysztof Kieslowski and Edward Zebrowski. 1992-93 EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs). Since 1993 various commercials and television films. Works as independent screenwriter and director.
