Born 1959 in Zurich, Switzerland. 1983-94 Works as camera assistant and then cinematographer. 1988-96 Member of the Videowerkstatt Zürich collective. 1994-97 Director of ZEBRA, programme on SRF (Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen). Since 1998 works as independent fimmaker. 2003 Founds real Film GmbH in Zurich. Since 2010 works on the research project Visual Communication in collaboration with the Institute for the Performing Arts and Film. Since 2011 director for Kulturplatz on SRF. Since 2014 lecturer at HSLU (Hochschule Luzern, Kunst & Design), camera arts.
