Stefan Korte
Rerecorder, Sound Designer
Stefan Korte studied sound and video engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf and has been working as a sound engineer ever since. For his work on RUSH he was nominated for the BAFTA Award "Best Sound" in 2014 and for the German Film Award in the category "Best Sound Design" in 2016 for ER IST WIEDER DA. He is a member of the German Film Academy. He was nominated for the Oscar in the category "Best Sound" for the film "IM WESTEN NICHTS NEUES" at the 95th Academy Awards. At the end of June 2023, Korte became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
