Mehdi Sahebi

Mehdi Sahebi wurde im Iran geboren und kam im Alter von zwanzig Jahren in die Schweiz. Er studierte Ethnologie mit Schwerpunkt visuelle Anthropologie, Geschichte und Völkerrecht an der Universität Zürich. Seine Dokumentarfilme ZEIT DES ABSCHIEDS (2006) und MIRR (2016) wurden auf zahlreichen internationalen Filmfestivals aufgeführt und ausgezeichnet. Sahebi arbeitet als Regisseur, Kameramann, Cutter und Dozent für Dokumentarfilm.
