Costanza Quatriglio
Director, Screenwriter, Producer
Born in 1973 in Palermo, Italy. She has a degree in Law and a diploma in Directing from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. She is a director and screenwriter. Her multi-award-winning debut film THE ISLAND (2003) premiered at the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes and was restored in 2023 by Cinecittà. She has directed films and documentaries garnering awards at numerous international festivals including Venice and Locarno. She won two Nastro d'Argento awards with TERRAMATTA (2013) and TRIANGLE (2014). Her recent films are the highly successful TV Movie THE LITTLE GIRL WHO DIDN'T WANT TO SING (2021) and THE VIRUS SMUGGLER (2021). Her latest film THE SECRET DRAWER (2024) premieres at the Berlinale.
