Geboren 1985 in Georgien. Elene studierte Malerei an der Staatlichen Kunstakademie in Tiflis. 2011 Master in Critical Curatorial Cybermedia, 2014 BA in Film an der Genfer Hochschule für Kunst und Design (HEAD - Genève). Elenes erster Spielfilm I AM TRULY A DROP OF SUN ON EARTH (2017) wurde am IFFR uraufgeführt und gewann Preise bei Entrevues Belfort und Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid. Der Kurzfilm RED ANTS BITE (2019) wurde auf der IFFR uraufgeführt. BLACKBIRD BLACKBIRD BLACKBERRY (2023) hatte seine Weltpremiere bei der Cannes 2023 Directors' Fortnight und wurde mit zahlreichen Festivalpreisen ausgezeichnet.
