Geboren 1980 in Berlin, Deutschland. 2008 Master Sozialanthropologie an der Freien Universität Berlin. 2009-14 Doktorat an der Universität Zürich. Seit 2014 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im Bereich Medienanthropologie an der Universität Bern. Ihr Ph.D.-Film CHILDREN OF SRIKANDI (2012) wurde auf der Berlinale uraufgeführt und lief auf zahlreichen internationalen Filmfestivals. TASTE OF HOPE (2019) war ihr erster Dokumentarfilm in Eigenproduktion. Er wurde am Visions du Réel in Nyon uraufgeführt und gewann den Prix ZONTA sowie den SSA/SUISSIMAGE Jury Award für den innovativsten Schweizer Spielfilm. Sie ist auch als Produzentin bei Srikandi Productions tätig.
