Porto: Novos Talentos Suiços / New Talents

Porto/Post/Doc 2022

After a first trial in 2021 with the programme "Emerging Artists", dedicated to the contemporary German production of experimental cinema and video art, this year Porto/Post/Doc opens a new section exclusively dedicated to the promotion of new filmmakers whose work is in a phase of affirmation among exhibitors, critics and audiences. Every year, the aim will be to highlight the production of a different European country. In this first edition, we propose to focus on the new Swiss auteur cinema.

3 films are part of the NEW TALENTS section (L'ÎLOT, L'ART DU SILENCE, THE CURSE) and two in Official Competiton (THE CURSE, JOURS DE FÊTE)

Tizian Büchi (filmmaker L'ÎLOT), Aline Schmid (producer L'ART DU SILENCE), Maria Kaur Bedi & Satindar Singh Bedi (filmmaker THE CURSE) and Kaspar Winkler (producer THE CURSE) will be attending the Festival
