Un agent de sécurité est gravement blessé lors d'une action de sabotage ratée d'un groupe de jeunes militants politiques. Ils l'emmènent dans la cabane alpine où ils ont leur cachette temporaire. Lorsqu'il s'avère que le garde a identifié deux membres du groupe, le groupe est confronté au choix d'accepter la mort du garde ou de se rendre. Qu'est-ce qui vaut le plus – la vie de l'individu ou la lutte pour une juste cause?
