Born 1963 in Geneva, Switzerland. 1990 graduated HEAD Geneva with ALOIS CAMENZIND, KLAUENSCHNEIDER which won the Main Prize at Oberhausen. 1993-97 worked as assistant on film productions such as Microcosmos and Trois Couleurs: Rouge. 1998 Pardino d'oro for PAMPA in Locarno. 2006 FAUSTRECHT selected for Nyon and Montréal (RIDM). 2012 codirected the award winning documentary feature NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS, which became a box-office success in Swiss cinemas and won the Audience Award at the Solothurn Film Festival. Award he won again in 2018 for OF THE VOICE. THE NARRATIVE is set to be released in 2026.
