Born in Glarus, Switzerland, in 1958. Completed his training as a theatre educator at what is now the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in 1983 with a film. Since then, he has realised around 40 productions in a commissioned capacity and as a freelancer in all functions. He is a member of the professional associations tPunkt, assitej, Visarte and SWB.
