Born in 1950 in Lausanne, Switzerland. 1972 Receives degree in Sociology from the University of Lausanne. 1973-75 Trainee journalist. Since 1980 works as independent director-producer. Since 1986 numerous reportages for Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS). Founding member of the Fondation vaudoise pour le cinéma. Founding member and president of Archimob and of Humem.
