Né en 1950 à Lausanne (Suisse). 1972 Licence en sociologie à l'Université de Lausanne. 1973-75 Journaliste stagiaire. Dès 1980 réalisateur-producteur indépendant. Dès 1986 nombreux reportages pour les magazines de la Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS). Membre fondateur de la Fondation vaudoise pour le cinéma. Membre fondateur et président d'Archimob et de Humem.
