Born in 1983 in Geneva, Switzerland. He holds a Master in Journalism from Université Libre de Bruxelles and in documentary filmmaking from the the National Film and Television School in England. After working as a journalist in Belgium and Switzerland, he became a cameraman for the BBC and then a documentary director. THERE WAS NOTHING HERE BEFORE (2024) is his second feature-length documentary and premieres at IFFR in Rotterdam.
