«Ichliebemich» describes the energy that keeps us alive, the force that drives us and bids us to continue seeking. We are searching for the essential and where could this be better found than in what we create? In the film we meet Alex Sadkowsky, the creator of many things: music, pictures, a family and now also a novel («Die chinesische Wespe»). It is an account of a seeker's quest. The film journeys through exotic landscapes – real and fictitious – and is shaped by many absurd ideas.
