A man and a woman create a “monologue” during their last meal together. It is fuelled by sighs, confessions, reminiscences, which are then suffocated, deafened and charged with emotional silence. One feels the weight of the passing seconds, together with the impossibility of trying to stop them. The imminent departure of the man allows the couple to communicate with the movements of their bodies. A dance film in black and white about failed communication between couples, with a touch of the 1950s – an era when the absence of artificiality and intrusive elements allowed an authentic reality.
