Scenes from broadcast news of politicians shaking hands are arranged to form a kind of round dance, set to the music of waltzes. Through further artistic interposition of the material, the real politicians are consigned to the background. Their body language becomes more important. When women enter the political arena, the male politicians change their behaviour. (From the series “Found Footage – künstlerische Interventionen von Fernsehbildern”)
