On October 8th 2005, Togo qualified for the final phase of the Soccer World Cup for the first time in history. For the people of Togo, their soccer team’s victory over the prestigious Senegalese team was a real miracle. Yet behind the happy smiles of a whole nation's hope in football, everyday life in Togo is a very tough reality. The film takes place during the World Cup 2006, front and backstage, and reveals the wounds of a country subject to its political system’s overriding blunders and errors.
