Award for “Luftbusiness” in France

“Luftbusiness”, Dominique de Rivaz’s second long-playing fiction film (CAB Productions, Lausanne), was honoured with the Press Jury Award for Best Fiction Film at the 9th “Festival Européen du Cinéma” in Gonfreville l’Orcher, France (November 4-10, 2008). The festival’s jury was comprised of eight French film journalists, who had selected “Dream” as the theme of this year’s festival.
The film “Luftbusiness”, which celebrated ist premiere in Locarno, tells the story of three young dropouts – starring Joel Basman (Shooting Star 2008), Dominique Jann and Tomas Lemarquis – whose daring trick becomes a nightmare when they realize they’ve sold their very existences. The film will be released in cinemas in the French-speaking region of Switzerland on January 21, 2009.
