Award for “Out of Bounds” at the Annonay (F) Film Festival

The Swiss film “Out of Bounds” by Fulvio Bernasconi (produced by Ventura Film, Meride) was awarded the Prix de la Musique prize of 500 euro at the 26th International Film Festival in Annonay (30 January to 9 February 2009). The director was present at the award ceremony.
Eight debut works from eight countries took part in the competition. The prize of 500 euro was awarded to the film musician Alexander Hacke. The jury praised “the film’s high level of originality and the courage shown in using this type of music in a film”.
At this French film festival, the two Swiss co-productions “Home” by Ursula Meier and “Tulpan” by Sergei Dvortsevoy were shown outside of the competition.
