Sophie Heldmann will present her film personally in Osaka.

Tribute to Bruno Ganz with Swiss films
The festival has invited Bruno Ganz as the Honorary Chairperson and will devote a retrospective comprised of eight films to the 71-year-old actor from Zurich. The retrospective will include Alain Tanner’s “Dans la ville blanche” (1983), which was a milestone in Ganz’s film career, as well as Fredi M. Murer’s fiction film “Vitus,” which had already been screened in Osaka in 2006. As a long-standing festival partner SWISS FILMS, the promotion agency, has supported this special tribute to Bruno Ganz and the Swiss presence in Osaka.
