Positive resonance for Swiss Shooting Star

Swiss actor Max Hubacher (“The Foster Boy”) met with considerable response from agencies and the media at the Shooting Star Event at the Berlinale, which concluded with a gala event at the China Club Berlin on Monday, February 13. Hubacher who represented Switzerland at this European event, will soon appear in minor roles in Tatort “Schmutziger Donnerstag” and in “Nachtzug nach Lissabon.”

Max Hubacher will be starring in the Tatort series, produced by Zodiac Pictures, together with Scherwin Amini and Vincent Furrer, his co-actors in the drama "Stationspiraten," directed by Dani Levy. The fiction film "Nachtzug nach Lissabon" is a coproduction by C-Films in Zurich, with Danish film director Bille August.
In addition, the 18-year-old actor Hubacher from Bern has been nominated for the Swiss Film Prize "Quartz 2012" as Best Actor.

At the 15th Shooting Star Event in Berlin, organised by European Film Promotion, ten young European acting talents were placed in the limelight on Potsdamerplatz from February 11-13, 2012, and presented to an international audience of film professionals.
