Prize for Swiss short film in Lünen

At the 18th edition of the Lünen Kinofest (Westfalen, Germany), which took place from November 15 – 18, 2007, the German-Swiss short film “Auf der Strecke” by Reto Caffi won the audience award in the “Erster Gang” competition (trans. First course competition), with short films longer than 20 minutes. Four films were in the running for the award, which comes with a prize sum of 1,600 Euro.
The thirty-minute short film with Roeland Wiesnekker in the lead role confronts a department store security guard with his bad conscience: He failed to act while witnessing a violent act committed against a seeming rival.
