Short Film Prize for “Ich bin’s Helmut” in Landshut

The 11-minute short fiction film “Ich bin’s Helmut” by Nicolas Steiner was honoured with the Short Film Prize, endowed with EUR 3,000, at the 12th Short Film Festival in Landshut (March 23-27, 2011).

The 11-minute short fiction film “Ich bin’s Helmut” by Nicolas Steiner was honoured with the Short Film Prize, endowed with EUR 3,000, at the 12th Short Film Festival in Landshut (March 23-27, 2011).

The winner of the grand prize at the festival in Southern Bavaria was a film shot in a single 11-minute take. Steiner produced the film during his studies at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg. "Ich bin's Helmut" has already garnered almost 30 international awards and has been screened at prestigious festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand, Palm Springs, Kiev and Bristol.
