The fiction film “Sister” (L’enfant d’en haut) by Ursula Meier, Switzerland’s candidate for an Oscar, is in the running for the award for Best French-speaking Film at the 18th Prix Lumières.

The fiction film “Sister” (L’enfant d’en haut) by Ursula Meier, Switzerland’s candidate for an Oscar, is in the running for the award for Best French-speaking Film at the 18th Prix Lumières.

Similar to the Golden Globes in the USA, these awards are presented to French and French-speaking cinema and artists by accredited foreign journalists in Paris. Joachim Lafosse’s Belgian-Swiss coproduction “A perdre la raison” has also been nominated. The Lumières awards ceremony will be held in Paris on January 18, 2013.
