Swiss animated films celebrated at Fantoche Festival in Baden

Several Swiss short films will be presented at the 6th Fantoche International Festival for Animated Films, taking place in Baden near Zurich from September 11 - 16, 2007. In addition to two programs, which are solely dedicated to Swiss short film productions ("Schweizer Szene 1 + 2"), the films "Banquise" (picture) by Claude Barras and Cédric Louis as well as "Une nuit blanche" by Maja Gehrig will be screened as part of the international competition.
Additional Swiss short films such as "Jeu/Play", "Tarte aux pommes", and "Kaffee" are also part of the "World Wide Hits" program.
The festival is the most important meeting place for animated filmmaking in Switzerland and takes place biannually. This year, 65 films from 23 countries were selected to participate and will be shown in the "International Competition" and "World Wide Hits" program.
