The Swiss animation film “Baka!!” by Immanuel Wagner was honoured with the Silver Pegasus Award (second prize) endowed with 30,000 zlotys (over 8,650 Swiss francs) at the 4th Animator International Animated Film Festival in Poznan (July 15-21, 2011).

This is the first award for the eight-minute film produced at the Lucerne School of Art and Design (HSLU). It has already been screened at festivals like Annecy and Teplice. Five animation film productions and Swiss coproductions participated in the competition at the relatively new animated film festival in west Poland.

The computer-animated film "Baka!!" celebrated its premiere last year in September at the Fantoche Festival in Baden. The main character is a rather clumsy figure that shows up unsolicited, tangles with a cleaning man and surprisingly ends up making himself useful as plant food.
