Swiss presence at the “Alpinale” in Nenzing

Switzerland will be present at the 23rd “Alpinale” Film Festival in Nenzing, Austria, (August 5-10, 2008) with two short films: “Einspruch V” by Rolando Colla and “What’s Next?” by Caudia Röthlin and Adrian Flückiger. The 71–year-old director Lucienne Lanaz from Bern and 38-year-old Stefan Jäger from Zurich, whose long-playing fiction film “Hello Goodbye” will conclude the festival, are among the six members of the jury that awards the “Goldene Einhorn” in six categories.
From a total of 543 entries, the festival selected 40 films of varying lengths and genres. The films come from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Norway, Russia, Belgium, Spain and England. The “Goldene Einhorn” is awarded in the following categories: Audience Award, Best Animation Film, Best School Film, Best Professional Film, Jury Prize and Best Children’s Film. In addition, the Jean-Thevenot Medal will be awarded for Best Soundtrack.
