Swiss television films awarded in Geneva

Several Swiss filmmakers and actors are among the prize winners at the 12th Festival Cinéma Tout Ecran in Geneva, which ended on November 5, 2006. The Wallis director Denis Rabaglia received the FNAC audience award for his Swiss-French television film “Pas de panique/Do Not Panic!” (PointProd, Geneva). The Swissperform award for Best Television Film, with a prize sum of 20,000 CHF, went to Tobias Ineichen for his film “Sonjas Rückkehr” (HesseGreutert Film, Zurich).
Swissperform acting awards, each worth 5,000 CHF, went to Annemarie Düringer for her performance in “Die Herbstzeitlosen/Late Bloomers” by Bettina Oberli (Catpics, Zurich), and to Stefan Kurt for his role in “Tod des Keilers” by Urs Egger (Dschoint Ventschr, Zurich). The Kodak award for Best Swiss Short Film, with a prize sum of 2,000 CHF, was given to Isabelle Favez for her animated film “Tarte aux pommes”. In addition, the jury of the “Regards d’aujourd’hui” section bestowed an honorable mention to the television film “Alles bleibt anders” by Güzin Kar (Langfilm, Freienstein).
