15.12.2008

Reto Caffi’s 30-minute graduation film “On The Line”, co-produced by the Academy of Media Arts (KHM) in Cologne, won yet two further awards at the 31st Rencontres Henri Langlois in Poitiers, the international Festival of Film Schools (December 5-13, 2008): the Public’s Prize, amounting to 1,500 euros, and the Photography Prize, endowed with 800 euros. At the 10th International Student Film Festival in Belgrade (December 10-14) the film was selected as “Best Live Action Film” among 59 films from all over the world.
In Poitiers, “On The Line” competed against 62 other film entries from international film schools from all over the world. With these three new awards, the film has garnered no less than 47 awards. It had just won the award for “Best Fiction” (EX EQUO) the week before at the 6th Tirana International Film Festival in Albania. The film has created a furore in ex-Yugoslavia and, actually, around the world.
