Three Swiss animated films in Seoul, SICAF (May 23 – 27, 2007)

The two animated films "Mahlzeit/Yummy" (Lynn Gerlach and Irmgard Walthert), and "Birdy" (Dennis Furrer), which were both produced through HGK Lucerne, will be shown at the 11th Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival SICAF (May 23 - 27). Along with 64 additional films, the two films will be screened as part of the student competition. "Mahlzeit/Yummy" also won the SSA/Suissimage Audience Award for the animation film program at the Solothurn Film Festival, while "Birdy" was shown there as Best New Talent film. In a special program featuring films by jury members, Otto Alder’s film "Papirossi" will be presented.
