The film "Sister" by Ursula Meier, which won a Silver Bear in Berlin, is one of three Swiss films to be shown at the 36th Hong Kong International Film Festival (21 March to 5 April 2012). A leading film festival in Asia along with festivals in Busan, Shanghai and Tokyo, it will be presenting the film "L'ambassadeur & moi" by Jan Czarlewski at the international competition of short films.
Hong Kong represents the 20th participation in an international film festival for "Abrir puertas y ventanas" by Milagros Mumenthaler, which - along with awards at six different festivals - won the Golden Leopard in Locarno last year. It is the first platform in Asia for the Swiss-Argentinean coproduction.
