Three swiss short films in Paris

28.03.2006

Three Swiss short films are participating at the 4th International Short Film Festival “Signes de nuit” in Paris, taking place from March 29 – April 2, 2006. Competing against approximately one hundred films from 34 countries are: “Terra Incognita” by Peter Volkart (Production: Reck Filmproduktion, Zurich), “Chyenne” by Alexander Meier (Production: Fama Films, Zurich), and “C.A.L.L.E.” by Patricia Boillat and Elena Gugliuzza. The festival “Signes du nuit” strongly supports independent filmmaking.
With this event, “Terra Incognita” - which also received the 2006 Swiss Film Prize - is continuing its successful festival tour (see press release from March 21, 2006). “Chyenne”, on the other hand, finds itself again in the limelight, after winning the 2004 Golden Leopard of Tomorrow and the 2005 Swiss Film Prize. The experimental short “C.A.L.L.E.” was shown in the “Spazio Italia” series at the Turin festival in November 2005.
