Born in 1957 in Thörigen, Switzerland. Trained as a bookseller. 1986-97 Works at the Medienpädagogik Zentrum, Hamburg. 1995 Receives degree in Visual Communication, with focus on Film and Photography from the HfbK (Hochschule für bildende Künste), Hamburg. 1997 MA from the HfbK. Works as film and television director. Since 2000 lecturer at the SfGB (Schule für Gestaltung Bern-Biel).
