Margherita Vicario
Screenwriter, Director, Composer
Born in 1988 in Rome, Italy. She is an Italian actress, musician and filmmaker. She produced her debut album, Minimal Musical while training as an actress at Accademia Europea di Arte Drammatica in Rome. Her Bachelor thesis delved into Brecht's use of popular music in political theater. After university, she studied the Dalcroze method, an educational practice centred on cultivating kids’ inherent musicality through rhythmic movement. She pursues a dual career as an actor and as a musician. In 2021, she unveiled her second album, Bingo, under the Universal label. GLORIA! (2024) is her feature film debut as director and screenwriter.
