Geflogen ist Mare noch nie, obwohl sie mit ihrem Mann und den drei Kindern im Teenager-Alter direkt neben dem Flughafen lebt. Sie liebt ihre Familie, auch wenn sie ihr manchmal ganz schön auf die Nerven geht. Mare sehnt sich nach einem eigenen Job und mehr Unabhängigkeit. Ihr Mann ist ihre Jugendliebe, doch als eines Tages ein jüngerer Mann ins Nachbarhaus zieht, überschreitet Mare eine Grenze.

Mare non ha mai volato prima d'ora, anche se vive proprio accanto all'aeroporto con suo marito e tre figli adolescenti. Ama la sua famiglia, anche se a volte le dà sui nervi. Mare desidera il proprio lavoro e una maggiore indipendenza. Suo marito è il suo amore d'infanzia, ma quando un giorno un uomo più giovane si trasferisce nella casa accanto, Mare supera un limite.
