Nora, aged 25, has just lost her parents in a plane crash. She moves in with her aunt, who occupies a property half of which Nora has inherited. Made to feel unwelcome by her new family almost immediately, Nora starts to give piano lessons as a means of survival, and as a result meets André, a 40-year-old man whom she immediately consents to marry. Nora soon feels stifled by this new husband and his boring world of routine. Until one day a stranger arrives, and all hell breaks loose…
