Born in 1981 in Baden, Switzerland. Joint Swiss and German citizenship. 2002-03 Attends preparatory course in art and design at ZHdK (Züricher Hochschule der Künste). 2003-09 Studies directing at ZHdK. 2009 MA in Film from ZHdK. 2010 diploma film DANIEL SCHMID – LE CHAT QUI PENSE codirected with Pascal Hofmann. The documentary on the late Swiss filmmaker Daniel Schmid premiered in the Panorama of the Berlinale 2010. It was selected for numerous festivals worldwide and received the Babelsberg Media Award for Best Graduate Film. 2014 Swiss Film Award Best Short Film for THE GREEN SERPENT. 2020 German Camera Award for the image design in the documentary NOT ME - A Journey with Not Vital.
