Born in 1983 in Trüllikon, Switzerland. After training as a graphic designer, he graduated with a Bachelor in Film at the ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts) in 2013. During his studies, he directed several award-winning short films. His Master's film FACING MECCA (2017) won a Student Oscar, the Swiss Film Award and made it onto the shortlist for the 90th Academy Awards. In 2020, he directed the third season of the successful SRF series WILDER. He then directed the historical spy series DAVOS 1917 (2023) which premiered at the Zurich Film Festival. A HAPPY FAMILY, currently in post-production is his debut feature film.
