After she fled from Afghanistan, 23-year old Ayaneh lives with her brother Haroun and her mother Soraya in a small flat on the outskirts of Zurich. When she goes swimming at a nearby indoor pool she meets Anna and instantly feels attracted to the young woman. Every time they meet it not only sparks new feelings in Ayaneh, but also leads to heavy resistance from her religious family.
